GOLD IN EGYPT

PL

Historia wydobycia sięga czasów faraonów .
W starożytnym Egipcie były ogromne złoża złota na pustyni
a długość kopalni złota pod ziemią sięgała 800 kilometrów
Wiele pól zasymilowano i eksploatowano przez tysiące lat .
Dzięki temu bogactwa wyrobów ze złota a zwłaszcza biżuterii w starożytnym
Egipcie osiągnęły wysoki rozwój .
Dowodem na to są słynne wykopaliska archeologów .

Starożytni Egipcjanie wierzyli, że biżuteria chroni przed złem ,
złym okiem i innymi kłopotami .
Większość z nich stanowiły święte żuki ( skarabeusze ) , węże, ptaki , żaby, żyrafy, i konie . Starożytni rzemieślnicy słynęli z tworzenia biżuterii
na wzór roślin i kwiatów : winogron,  stokrotek i chabrów.

W biżuterii osadzano kamienie szlachetne takie jak:
malachit , karneol , lapis lazuli ,
kryształ górski i kolorowe szkło .
a niektóre z nich to prawdziwe arcydzieła .

turkus , ametysty i szmaragdy
Nowocześni jubilerzy starają się wykonywać swoją pracę z jasnych, unikatowych kamieni i wykonywać je w ducha starożytnego Egiptu.
Produkty są zdominowane głownie przez kolor
turkusowy, zielony, niebieski i biały

to piękno,

turquesa, verde, azul y blanco.

Egypt - one of the largest gold mines in the world.
The history of mining dating back to the pharaohs.
In ancient Egypt were huge deposits of gold in the desert
and the length of underground gold mines reached 800 km.
Many of the fields assimilated and exploited for thousands of years.
Thanks to the wealth of gold and especially jewelry in ancient
Egypt reached a high development.
Proof of this are the famous archaeological excavations.

The ancient Egyptians believed that jewelry protects against evil,
the evil eye and other problems.
Very common were various talismans and amulets of gold.
Traditionally, these decorations are produced in the form of deities in which they believed.
Most of them were sacred beetles (scarabs), snakes, birds, frogs, giraffes and horses. The ancient craftsmen were famous for jewelry making
on the pattern of plants and flowers: grapes, daisies and cornflowers.

In the jewelry deposited precious stones such as:
malachite, carnelian, lapis lazuli,
crystal and colored glass.
Gold jewelry was worn by men and women of all ages and social status
Egyptian jewelers improved their skills through the ages
and some of them are real masterpieces.

Many works of art have survived.
Modern Masters cherish the tradition of trying to reproduce
beautiful design dating back centuries.
Jewelers and shops are located throughout the country.
Particularly intense trade is conducted in resorts.
In Hurghada, the streets are crowded by jewelry shops and workshops.

Everyone will find something for themselves.
A wide range of products from all precious and semi-precious stones - beautiful rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, brooches.
Silver and gold are the most popular.
Most stones that are used are:
turquoise, amethysts and emeralds.
Modern jewelers are trying to do their job with bright, unique stones and execute them in the spirit of ancient Egypt.
The products are mainly dominated by color
turquoise, green, blue and white.
On tanned bodies look especially beautiful.

When choosing jewelry in Egypt, I recommend the following:
Egyptian gold alloy of different metals, mainly silver (750)
Diamonds, emeralds and sapphires are imported products, even though the vendor will ensure that these are local stones.
Gram of gold is worth about 10 zł - $ 15 silver in 3-4 times cheaper.

Jewelry market has another side - a huge market for low-quality counterfeit jewelry.
Buy the best stores rather than from vendors on the benches on the street.
As you know, most Egyptian stores do not have price tags on goods.
The prices depend on the supplier.
Do not hesitate to haggle.

Egyptian jewelry is elegant and unique.
This beauty,
which can not be found in any other country in the world.
Beautiful works of the masters will delight you for many years
and I remind you of the wonderful holiday on the Red Sea coast.

Have a nice shopping!

HAVE AN INSPIRING DAY!

muchos besos y abrazos
